Lola Lorraine worked in Manhattan top salons since 2003, and spent 7 years as an artist with Schwarzkopf Professional, a multi-national hair color manufacturer.
In June 2015, Lola realized a lifelong dream, when she opened Salon Lola, a Brooklyn boutique salon, born of her own inspiration. As a Lefferts Gardens resident herself, she is thrilled to introduce a new caliber of hair artistry to her neighborhood, and build lasting relationships within the community.
An article in New York Magazine titled Top Five Salons for Blondes, gave Lola kudos for creating versatile looks, ranging from subtle luminosity, to bold and edgy statements. Although her expertise is by no means limited to blondes, Lola does view each client as a unique muse, deserving a completely original take on what’s in fashion.
In addition to salon work, Lola Lorraine has styled hair for NYC Fashion Week and editorial photo shoots. Her work with color, wigs and extensions has been showcased in makeovers featured by publications such as NYLON and People. Music, fashion, film, and the ever-unfolding styles on the streets of NYC, fill her with endless inspiration to evolve artistically.
